Realm in the evening is a truly delightful and restful space - pair that with a full moon, movement and live music, and you have an evening unlike any other. Join us alongside Alba Avella and Jen Korte, Lead singer of Lady Gang for an immerse experience of yoga and live music.
This date and time has been specifically chosen as the full moon is due to rise shortly after the sun sets. Realm’s intention for this event is to equip you with an opportunity to engage a place of both restfulness and energy through movement with the guidance of these talented humans. This October's full moon is the Hunters Moon. This particular full moon will look to be much larger because of how close it is to the Autumnal Equinox.
Event Format

Join us at 6:00pm on October 13th. Sunset is at 6:24 and the full moonrise is at 6:46. Flow will begin at 6:15 and we’ll arrive at final resting pose around 7:15.
After class you have the option to take part in our release ritual. A time to write down things of the past: painful moments, a name, a memory, a feeling. Something you have been holding on to that you need to leave in the past. We will set an intention with a quick meditation with the paper, and when you get home burn the paper in a safe place. Focus on the flame, and the paper disintegrating into the air. Watch it release itself from your grip. The full moon is always a great time to let go of things we hold on to. By writing it down and watching it burn away, we are telling the universe that we are ready to let go.
What to Bring

Yoga Mat Water bottle Specific Props to your individual practice: Block, Strap, Blanket, Pillow, Etc. (we have a limited supply of straps, and blankets available first come first serve). A journal and pen if you’d like to partake in the intention setting and burning ritual.

She brings a strong background in power, vinyasa flow, and creative expression through movement. Her passion for yoga is rooted in Karma, the belief that what we do on the mat is just as important as what we do when we’re off.

Jen Korte is known to us as both a solo artist as well as a champion collaborator, is well versed in all genres of music, and played every venue you’ve heard of from Denver to Caribbean. A career rooted in both indie rock and hiphop seems to be the only backdrop that could help make sense of Lady Gang’s calculated execution of sound that drips with originality and soul.
Having opened for national acts like The Pharcyde, Mac Lethal and Wax, Shamar Allen of Galactic, and Nappy Roots, along with being nominated for ‘Best Singer-Songwriter” by Denver Westword in 2018 and winning the title for 2019, fans are taking note.
